Synthetic biological neural networks

A Synthetic Biological Neural Network (SBNN) is a computational model of biological neural networks. Unlike Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), the purpose of SBNN is not to be a mathematical model inspired by biology but be a computational model as close as possible to the biological structures.
